What Project Size Can You Handle?

Depending on your project schedule, we can handle assignments requiring tens of thousands of lines of code, several hundred pages of documentation, or both. We may be useful on larger projects by developing subsystems or dealing with particular areas of responsibility, such as data modeling.

Who Owns Your Work?

When we develop new software we normally own the software, any data used to configure the software, and the documentation. Our ownership of the software lowers costs and improves reliability, because we can reuse software from project to project. Our ownership of the software also allows us to use the best development approaches for your project, without being blocked by intellectual property rights given up on prior projects. You receive source code and all needed rights to the source code.

When we develop documentation, bug fixes, enhancements, or queries for your existing systems, you normally own all of that specific code and documentation. We may ask to retain copies for the purpose of supporting your system.

When we do custom work where you own the specific code, we use generally known best practices and may use generally useful coding standards, documentation templates, and other reusable pieces. We can own and reuse those reusable parts even if you own the specific code and documentation created.

You always own your enterprise data and customer data. We will only keep such data on our own systems as allowed by you and by your firm's security policies.

What About Source Code?

When we develop new software, you can receive all the source code at no extra charge. If you choose to support the application yourself, you are free to modify the source code and also create derivative works, so long as the application and its derivatives are only used within your enterprise. You cannot sell or distribute the application outside your enterprise, give away, publish, or sell our source code, or sell derivative works, unless we consent. If your enterprise is merged or acquired, your source code rights are transferred to the new enterprise at no cost.

When we develop documentation, bug fixes, enhancements, or queries for your existing systems, you normally own all of that specific code and documentation and keep the delivered copies on your systems.

What Work Qualifies for Your Warranty?

When we develop new software for a fixed price, we provide our free one-year warranty.

When we develop new documentation, whether for new software or existing software, for a fixed price, we provide our free one-year warranty.

A warranty can be extended for 5% of the purchase price per added year.

If you choose to modify the application yourself, doing so normally ends your warranty.

Where Do You Work?

We can work on your premises with either your equipment or ours. We can also work on our premises in Denver, with high-speed Internet, a powerful quad-core PC with ample resources, nightly backups, and Microsoft development tools.

Do You Have Any Job Openings?

No. We are not hiring at this time.

Are You Accepting Investments?

We are not actively seeking investors. If you are an accredited investor and want to be informed of any future business opportunities, please email us.
